Single Cylinder Four Stroke Water Cooled Diesel Engine Test Rig
The setup consists of single cylinder, four stroke, Diesel engine connected to dynamometer for variable loading. The setup has standalone type independent panel box consisting of air box, fuel tank, manometer, fuel measuring unit. Engine jacket cooling water inlet, outlet and exhaust gas temperature is displayed on temperature indicator. Flowmeter is provided for cooling water flow measurement.
Experimental Capabilities:-
- Study of engine performance for power, efficiencies, fuel consumption, air fuel ratio and heat balance.

- Indicator: to measure the temperature at various Points
- Water circulated exhaust Gas Calorimeter.
